Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: Safety is our top priority, so if the weather is dangerous, we’ll either reschedule or offer a full refund. But we’ll tour in most weather conditions, seeking cover where available. Seeing the statues of the Korean War troops in rain or snow is a moving experience. Remember: No rain, no rainbows. Dress according to expected conditions. We’ll keep you in the loop the whole time if the weather is questionable.
Q: What should I bring?
A: To ensure you have the most enjoyable tour wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, bring a full water bottle, a snack, sunscreen and a curious mind.
Q: How can I get to the meeting location?
A: All tour meeting locations are accessible via Metro, bicycle, or walking from downtown DC. Metered parking is available at the Tidal Basin paddle boats lot and along Ohio Drive.
Q: Are tours suitable for kids and those with mobility impairments?
A: We customize each tour to serve our visitors and ensure everyone has an enjoyable and inspirational experience. Walking tours generally cover about 2 miles on level ground at a slow pace with frequent stops.
Q: Does the tour include entry to all the memorials?
A: All National Mall memorials are free with no tickets required. The Washington Monument does require tickets, reserveable at www.recreation.gov/ticket/facility/234635, with a very limited number available the same day at the Washington Monument Lodge.
Q: Do you offer private or group tours?
A: Absolutely! Please contact us directly for customized private group bookings.

A: There are public restrooms located throughout the park. We may even highlight our favorite new and clean restroom- shhh don’t tell anyone though.
