Meet Your Tour Guide

After 25 years sharing stories in our National Parks, Ranger Jamie retired in 2025. Unable to see himself wearing any other colors, after leaving the green and gray of the National Park Service, he founded Gray and Green Tours in 2026. Our mission is to provide personal tours of DC’s cultural landmarks and natural environment. We’ll show you the gray stone and metal memorials and statues, and the green trees and grass of the National Mall. We'll bring it to life with stories gathered during 15 years managing the park.
